My Digital Footprint

Remove Formatting from selectionI don't use Facebook, I don't use Twitter, I'm not that kind of guy. I spend my time on Forums, Youtube, and Web Design tutorials. I post the occasional Youtube video, and I code a new template, for others to download. I don't really socialize with my family or friends using social networking sites at all. At most, I'll play Minecraft with my friends, to spend some time. I don't social network, I play, and read.

Is an Angry Birds addiction good, or bad?

Angry Birds is a very powerful game, for its size, and simplicity. It has captured many hearts and minds with its unique take on a simple genre of video games. Out of all the casual gamers, there is an addict for all types of video games. Even Angry Birds. The question is, is the addiction good, or bad? I think that it is both. First of all, almost all video games train your mind. Video games have the player concentrate and think a lot, and there is no question that Angry Birds does so as well. Having to launch a bird at the right height, and the right speed to hit your target isn't easy. Yeah, that's a pretty nice skill to have, eh? One problem. All addictions have this problem. You're addicted. You can't keep away, you have to do one more game, you won't talk to your family. That's not good, and there are a lot of people addicted to the game.

What I've learned, and some goals.

I've learned many things, in this ICT class. First of all, I've learned how to use the Mac Operating System, which was almost impossible for me, since I am an all-time, Windows guy. It helped me learn how to understand things, and helped me realize, that I can learn the almost impossible kinds of things, such as the Mac OS. I've learned that I can get off task at times, but in the end, I always manage to get the work done, with a reasonable effort.

Near the beginning of this course, I had planned a list of goals. Although, there were only two, that were important for the course. My first one, was to understand, and learn everything, that it taught to me. The second one, is to know if I am capable for a programming course. Right now, I'm not sure if those goals have been met, because we are only now starting programming, but I'm sure, that i will meet my goals, because I will be trying hard.
